- Manage teaching and learning to ensure that the school operates within the stated policies and practices
- Plan yearly, term-wise and monthly syllabi of assigned class(es) in consultation with her subject coordinator/section coordinator. Plan and conduct weekly and daily lessons accordingly.
- Plan lessons with clear objectives to ensure that pupils learn and develop healthy culture of learning. Provide clear concept of the assigned subject(s).
- Use ICT to develop resources and online activities for students
- Monitor and record the progress of their pupils by marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils’ progress and development
- Mark tests/exams, prepare progress reports and enter scores in ERP
- Maintain good order and discipline amongst students under one’s care and safeguard their health and safety at all times
- Ensure active participation and discipline by students during intra-school and inter-school events
