The Assistant Accountant will provide support to the Project In-charge and wider finance team by helping to prepare financial reports, accounts, Stock reports, processing invoices and preparing the systematic records.
Assistant Accountants will also, be a key member of the finance team who is responsible for the finalization of month-end and year-end accounts/ reports.
Assistant Accountant duties and responsibilities of the job
The role is hugely instrumental in helping the finance team by reporting daily financial reports relating to operations at Display Center and Construction Project costs separately.
Assistant Accountant job description will include:
- Supporting the finance manager at head office and wider finance team
- Collaborating with these teams to work on various accounting projects
- Performing reconciliations of accounts
- Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods
- Preparing ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate
- Performing other administrative duties related to Operations and Project (as applicable)
- Verifying various material stocks arrival, consumption, and closing balances at the site.
- Processing and preparing systematic record as per company policy
- Submitting daily financial reports relating to Operations and project
