Reports to: Assistant Media & Communications Officer

Job Purpose: The position will support media and communications department in content development and photography with knowledge of editing and basic graphic designing. By nature of position, the candidate once taken on-board will learn dynamics of media and communications with field and professional workplace exposure that will lead towards his/her personal grooming and subsequent support to the department.

Key Accountabilities:

The job holder is accountable for fulfilling his / her roles and responsibilities in line with Islamic values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and team members.

Technical

  • Capturing photos and videos with given subjects.
  • Editing of all work, Adobe Photoshop, Premier pro, Corel draw.
  • Coordinating with the Media and Communication team for execution of pre-planned contents for communications on social media and other materials development
  • Perform any task assigned by supervisor as and when required.

Person Specification: It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and sympathy with the organizational values & principles, vision and mission as well as commitment to its PSEAH (preventing sexual exploitation abuse and harassment) protocols. Qualification, Experience, and Competencies:

  • A Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication Studies/Mass Communication/Film and TV Production
  • Fresh – 1 year of experience. Candidates with hands on experience of camera handling and editing will be preferred

Language: Urdu, English and local languages.

Computer Skills:

MS Office, Outlook, familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Premier pro, Corel Draw

Personal Qualities & Skills:

  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience, and able to maintain self-control in difficult situations.
  • Good communication skills in local as well as English / Urdu language which delivers information with clarity in a wide range of situations.
  • Has a positive nature and able to overcome issues that create hindrance in achievement of entrusted goals / objectives.
  • Has a learning attitude and a continuous improvement philosophy.
