Background

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Build partnership with key stakeholders and individuals in the community.
  • Liaise and coordinate with program staff for project implementation.
  •  Carry out awareness raising sessions and outreach activities to inform the community members about services.
  • Should pass on routine feedback findings of the community members and other stakeholders.
  • Will facilitate the community to pass their complaints to the management through CBFRM in a transparent manner.
  • Respond and adjust to a flexible activity scheduling, logistical constraints related to public space management, or social dynamics involving the community and its expectations.
  •  Act in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner towards other colleagues & community.

  • Actively promote PSEA (prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and among beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct, maintain humanitarian principles and respect international humanitarian law at all times.
  • It is our shared responsibility and obligation to prevent matters involving sexual exploitation and abuse, trafficking in persons, child safeguarding and any suggested violation to our Code of Conduct that may involve conflicts-of-interest, fraud, corruption or harassment.

  • Promote and encourage a culture of compliance and ethics throughout International Medical Corps.

Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in any social science disciple.
  • At least two(2) years of experience in similar level.  
  • Experience in effectively dealing with such projects as well as donor agencies, government officials, and other NGOs; the ability to work with a broad spectrum of people

  •  Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent self-motivation skills
  • Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations
  • Ability to relate to and motivate staff effectively
  • Creativity and the ability to work with limited resources
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proven capabilities in leadership required
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Fluency in spoken Regional Languages.
  • Communication in National & International Language will be an edge.
