Roles & Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation. The tasks listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

·         Regularly mentor Gender Support Groups members and conduct monthly meetings.

·         Registered GBV cases and provide case management services to registered GBV survivors as per IASC guidelines.

·         Arrange and conduct seminars, events, coordination meetings and other awareness related activities at targeted Field area.

·         Assist program Officer in trainings and other project related activities.

·         Conduct exit interviews, KAP surveys, FGD and GSG capacity assessment and provide technical support to address identified needs.

·         Facilitate in conducting EMAP activities in target RVs.

·         Conduct coordination meetings, focus session with community elders/religious leaders and adolescents on GBV and mental health basic concepts.

·         Compile activity reports and data entry.

·         Identify and document success stories, case studies, best practices and lessons learned.

·         Facilitate the community to pass their complaints to the management through CBFRM in a transparent manner.

         Emergency Response:

·         Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibilities as and when needed.

·         Part of team conducting assessments, reviews and self-inspections.

·         Adhere to organization Code of Conduct and internationally accepted humanitarian principles.

·         Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within organization and amongst beneficiaries served.

·         Act in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner towards the community.

·         Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout International Medical Corps.

·         Maintains a clear understanding of International Medical Corps and donor compliance requirements and keep ethical standards and adhere to the standards.

·         Conducts work with the highest level of integrity. Communicates these values to the staff and to partners and requires them to adhere to these values.

Required Experience & Qualifications: 

Qualifications

·         Master in sociology/psychology. Minimum two years of experience working on psychosocial counselor position for providing services in GBV project.

·         Proficient in computer applications, especially with MS Office tools.

·         Fluency in speaking Pashtu language.

Location:

Lower Dir with frequent travelling to Haripur/ Mansehra
