Background

Main Responsibilities  

Responsibilities:

The hired consultant will develop/adapt the training materials and conduct the capacity-building sessions/trainings for the community women and girls including Afghan refugees and host community Naguman and Khazana of Peshawar district.  

The one-day Basic Medical First Aid course will equip the participants with the knowledge, practical skills & understanding required to provide appropriate first-aid treatment for injuries and sudden illness until medical professionals arrive to take over.   The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

  • Develop/adapt the training material.
  • Deliver the orientation session in local language (Pashto)
  • Submit a brief 1 pager final report

Qualifications

  • Master’s in social science;
  • Trained in basic medical first aid
  • Good facilitation skills.

Experience

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in conducting the same level/ nature of training. 
  • Familiarity with conducting medical first aid training to community women and girls;

Competencies

  • Good Interpersonal/Communication Skills;
  • Fluent in spoken local languages Pashto is mandatory. 
  • Fluent in written Urdu and English and good in training report writing;
  • Familiar with local culture and customs.
