Purpose of consultancy:

The purpose of the consultancy is to prepare a training package for Lady Health Worker, Community Midwives and Health professionals of the International Medical Corps and government working in Peshawar and Khyber districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on RH and Basic Family Planning methods & Counselling. 

Scope of work:

International Medical Corps is seeking the professional services of a Consultant for the training of Lady Health Worker, Community Midwives and Health professionals of service providers on RH and Basic Family Planning methods & Counselling as per WHO guidelines customized to the local settings of Khyber and Peshawar Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

Duration and working schedule:

3 days, one-day activity at three different locations

Place where services are to be delivered:

Khyber Agency & Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 

Delivery dates and how work will be delivered (e.g. electronic, hard copy, etc.):

The consultant will be responsible for the following deliverables:

1.       Development/adaption of training manual/Job aid

2.       Preparation of pre and post-test for the participants

3.     Submission of a training report

Supervisory arrangements: 

Programme Director and Project Manager.

Expected travel:

The consultant will have to go to Peshawar and Khyber Agency, KP – Travel will be finalized in consultation with the International Medical Corps team including the logistic arrangements 

Required expertise, qualifications, and competencies, including language requirements:

At least 10 years’ experience in the field of public health; able to demonstrate experience of conducting similar assignments. Able to travel to Khyber Agency and Peshawar to conduct the desired,

Qualification: -

At least an advance university degree / Masters or MS in Public Health or related field. 

Other relevant information or special conditions, if any:

1. The trainer has to critically analyze the logistics arrangements during the training session and formally inform International Medical Corps for future improvement, this includes but is not limited to the venue, registration, accommodation, and meals, etc.

2.Trainer to share training modules and requirements with the logistics team for printing & arrangement in time.

3., Draft training report, get it reviewed from Program Director and finalize training report within 2 weeks after completion of training.
