Job Summary:

Under the supervision of WPE Manager and WPE Coordinator, the GBV Case Management Supervisor is responsible to ensure appropriate supervision, support, monitoring and on the job coaching for the GBV Case Workers and to ensure quality case management service provision as per GBV case management SOPs while working in close collaboration with the IRC SRH team and local partner.

Major Responsibilities:

In collaboration and under the direct supervision of WPE Coordinator, the GBV Case Management Supervisor will:

  • Ensure supervision and coaching for GBV Case Workers working with survivors of GBV and those at risk- beneficiaries at the WGSS and in communities;
  • Manage, coach and orient the GBV Case Workers on GBV case Management and GBVIMS data entry;
  • Close coordination with GBVIMS officer for data entry;
  • Coordinate the work of case workers in their respective locations and ensure that work is completed according to guidelines and standards including survivor centered approach;
  • Ensure all case management related M&E tools are utilized, information collected, analyzed and actions taken to ensure quality service provision;
  • Supervise and monitor case management action plans/safety plans for beneficiaries developed by Case Workers;
  • Ensure proper documentation of cases and follow-up processes;
  • Collect, compile and analyze monthly reports from the team and submit to central level;
  • Work closely with the WPE officer and partner staff on all issues related to programs and activities;
  • Work closely with WPE officer and partner staff to regularly update GBV referral pathway in collaboration with Social Welfare Department, Health department and other service providers;
  • Participate and ensure participation of case workers in peer-to-peer or other capacity building initiatives implemented at the sector level;
  • Organize individual weekly and monthly meetings with GBV Case Workers;
  • Ensure participation in Field level case management coordination meetings and case conferences;
  • Engage with district level GBV service providers including government and non-government, for the establishment of case management system.

 Position Reports to: WPE Manager

Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated experience in GBV case management, GBVIMS and data entry;
  • Experience in implementing programs through local partner organizations;
  • Proven experience in conducting and facilitating GBV Case management trainings and workshops;
  • Deep understanding of gender-based violence, women’s protection and empowerment in the context of Sindh and Baluchistan;
  • Strong experience of interagency GBV case management SOPs and KP VAWG Case management SOPs;
  • Good working knowledge of English language;
  • Works well in and promotes teamwork, flexible, able to handle pressure well, and strong communication skills;
  • Ability to react to emergency situation and trouble-shoot crisis situation as needed;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel;
  • Willing to travel to field sites as required;
  • Belief in and understanding of gender equality, women's rights and empowerment.

Language Skills:

Spoken and written English and Urdu; Sindhi and Baluchi is preferred.
