IRC has been working in Pakistan for over 30 years, and manages and delivers large complex programs to meet needs in health, education, protection, environmental health and livelihoods for displaced, poor & affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and currently works in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh provinces.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for  overall management of ‘data base’ of the required health program, extending support for data base management, HIS, developing plans and strategies, generating trend analysis, updating and maintaining records, etc. His/her responsibilities will also include coordinating with MEAL and Comprehensive Online Measurement & Effectiveness Tool (COMET) teams on regular basis. Help define & implement standards and processes for quality data management, analysis on health indicators, data sharing with other units and stakeholders, support in report writing, design and facilitate data management trainings to health/field staff.

Responsibilities:

·         Collection and compilation of program data in a timely manner from IRC supported health facilities/sites/providers.

·         Analyze collected data and convert it into value added information according to project indicators.

·         Review and refine data collection and verification processes and procedures to ensure that all desirable elements of data are captured by the system.

·         Update and validate program data on COMET and desired report format on regular basis.

·         Upload verified data through DHIS2 data capture mobile app (if and when needed).

·         Review and analyze data to graphically present utilization trends based on monitoring indicators.

·         Perform other relevant tasks as required in support of processes for strengthening data analysis.

·         Produce reports for specific needs aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the decision making protocols.

·         Perform other tasks/duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.

·         Internal: Health Services Section and Community Outreach Section, MEAL, Program Support Unit, COMET team

·         External: Officials of health department, government and health care providers,

Job Requirements:

a)      Education:

Minimum graduation in relevant subject from a recognized institute.

b)      Work Experience:

At least 2 - 3 years of work experience in related field.

c)      Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

d)      Must be fluent in Urdu & English languages both written and spoken.

e)      Willingness and capacity to work and travel to project field areas.

f)       Working knowledge/experience on dashboards and database(s)

g)      Previous experience in health sector will be a plus.

Language Skills:

·         Must be fluent in Urdu and local languages.

Working Environment:  Works well in and promotes teamwork, flexible and ability to handle pressure well.
