IRC Pakistan is operating since 1980 and has a very strong foot hold on the humanitarian and development landscape in the country. The IRC -Pakistan people community must now be in thousands, who were part of the organization in the capacity of a staff, consultant, volunteer or an intern. The number is still growing. Attracting and retaining the right talent in the current era is becoming more and more complex and demanding for HR.
With its commitment to transition from the traditional HR function to a more dynamic People and Culture function, IRC Pakistan wants to have the baseline of its current HR function and processes. This baseline will help the management to identify the gap in all HR functions and take actions where needed. HR audit is an opportunity to tighten up processes so that aspects like recruitment, retention, onboarding, training, salary and compensation and performance management all get the attention they need. Moreover, the audit will also help align HR (People & Culture) function with the needs of the changing external and internal context.
Scope of work:
The primary objective of this exercise is to conduct an audit of selected HR processes and identify the areas that need immediate attention and solutions alongside.

The exercise is expected to be completed within two months time after agreeing on the methodology of the HR Audit. Key elements of this audit should be:
1. Futuristic
2. Action-oriented (practical, sophisticated and efficient solutions where possible)
3. Pragmatic
4. Simplifying HR processes and ways of working
Focal point from IRC: Head of People & Culture will be the focal point from HR for all queries and requirements from IRC.
