IRC has been working in Pakistan for over 40 years, and manages and delivers large, complex programs to meet the needs in health, education, protection, environmental health, and livelihoods for displaced, poor, and disaster-affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and is currently present in 4 provinces including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the newly Merged Districts of KP – Ex Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
Job Overview/Summary:
Under the supervision and leadership, the Intern will be responsible to oversee tasks related to reception, communications management including screening and forwarding telephone calls, h/she to maintain conference room booking according to the scheduled meetings.
Major Responsibilities:
- Learn and oversee all reception area activities including operating the PABX, screening and forwarding telephone calls, taking messages and maintaining up-to-date and accurate phone and fax logs according to an established system.
- Learn, Monitor, update exchange list, external contact lists as well as address book of IRC Pakistan including staff cell numbers, email addresses on monthly basis, in coordination with Supply Chain.
- Coordinate outgoing mail/packages safe delivery of documents and maintain effective tracking/log sheet. Also, distribute mail.
- Schedule internal meetings maintain conference room booking according to scheduled meeting.
