IRC has been working in Pakistan since 1980, and today, IRC’s programs serve a diverse population of conflict and disaster-affected communities. Since 2013, the IRC in Pakistan has expanded its mandate to include a focus on recovery and development, securing a number of larger-scale and longer-term projects in education, protection, health, environmental health and livelihoods.
Job Overview/Summary:
The IRC in Pakistan is undertaking a study to understand the linkages between the provision of cash assistance and health outcomes. Through a health system assessment and high-frequency surveys of beneficiaries of cash programs, the IRC will strive to understand how these individuals’ health may be impacted by the provision of cash. The Knowledge & Learning Manager will serve as the focal point on the ground for the study team and will play a key role in supervising and monitoring the data collection activities.

Location & field areas: The position will be based at Peshawar. The area of the cash program where this study will be conducted is Peshawar and Bannu.
