Established in Pakistan for over 30 years, IRC manages and delivers large, complex programs to meet needs in health, education, protection and livelihoods for displaced, poor and conflict-affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and currently works in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Job Overview/Summary: She should have technical skills of attending patients/ clients coming to the facility for Family Planning (FP), Post Abortion Care (PAC), antenatal visits or delivery. She should be able to provide quality services through her technical and good communication skills to achieve objectives of the project
Major Responsibilities:
· Work as part of a medical team in one of the district health facility to provide reproductive health services according to national and IRC Reproductive Health policy.
· Attends FP and PAC cases in assigned working hours
· Assist LHVs in FP PAC activities
· Disinfection and sterilization of FP-PAC commodities
· FP PAC counselling to clients/patients coming to health facilities.
· Health education to child bearing age women, lactating mother and pregnant women.
· Dispense medicine to pregnant PAC women and FP Commodities to clients as advised by LHV
· Allow clients of FP number by number (with the exception of emergency PAC case, which should be taken directly to LHV) to prevent the crowed and patients complaints
· Cleaning of the portion of the FP and PAC room building as instructed
· Willing to work in evening and night shifts
· Any other relevant duty needed or requested.

· Midwifery 1 year course
Work Experience:
· Experience of at least two years in reproductive health and FP will be preferred
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
· Expertise in reproductive health and FP .
Language Skills: Must be fluent in Urdu, Pashtu languages.
