IRC has been working in Pakistan for approximately 40 years, managing and delivering large, complex programs to meet the needs in health, education, safeguarding, environmental health and livelihoods for displaced, poor and disaster affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and is currently working across the country.

Job Overview/Summary:

The Sr. Response Manger will work under the supervision of Country Emergency Lead. The incumbent will be required to lead the emergency response at the KPK province level both in south and north districts. MIS officer will be responsible for overall management of the response, partner engagement, supportive supervision for the partners and ensure smooth and timely assistance delivery to flood affected communities.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collection and compilation of LIFE project data in a timely manner from field staff.
  • Analyze collected data and convert it into value added information according to project indicators.
  • Review and refine data collection and verification processes and procedures to ensure that all desirable elements of data are captured by the system.
  • Review and analyze data to graphically present utilization trends based on monitoring indicators.
  • Perform other relevant tasks as required in support of processes for strengthening data analysis of LIFE project.
  • Produce reports for specific needs aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of the decision- making protocols.
  • Support Senior Officers of LIFE project on report writing.
  • Assist in management of beneficiaries’ feedback data and generate monthly analysis.
  • In guidance of manager, ensure that all records are properly organized.
  • Ensure that data is collected and entered into data management system on a regular basis.
  • Validate data for completeness, correctness, consistency and follow up on any data quality issues.
  • Work with relevant teams on designing and/or updating the program data.
  • Promote accountability and ensure compliance with IRC WAY policies, global Humanitarian Standards for Quality and Accountability, including the complaint and response mechanism (CRM), to ensure that affected communities and people are at the center of IRC response.
  • Assist in the review and development of appropriate formats, tools and systems for monitoring and evaluating programs, assuring quality, and managing data according to internal and international standards.
  • Extend needful support to program teams to track progress of the project activities in line with the agreed output and outcome level performance indicators and beneficiary numbers using standardized formats and systems, to establish/maintain data storage and dissemination systems.
  • Assist in the design, collection and analysis of data and information for assessments, surveys and evaluations as required by the LIFE project and the program teams as per project requirements.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and support relevant teams in improved data management practices.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by line manager

Job Requirements:

Education

Master’s degree in computer science, Statistics or another relevant field required.

Work Experience

  • Clear understanding of statistics and ability to summarize the data sets.
  • Experience with MIS and skilled in quantitative data analysis.
  • Excellent quantitative skills and power user with Excel.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Strong coordination, communication, and capacity building skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a diverse multicultural team with respect for Pakistani culture and norms.
  • Proven ability to live and work in a stressful environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office package (word, excel, power point)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of indicators and theory of change analysis.
  • Strong, creative problem-solving skills

Language Skills:

  • Must be fluent in Urdu & English languages.
  • Pashto language will be an advantage.
