Under the supervision of DRR Infrastructure Engineer the Hygiene Promoter will be responsible for Triggering exercises for safe excreta disposal will be carried out in all 75 selected villages, Formation of WASH clubs in schools and Hygiene promotion sessions with school children under IRC Sindh | BDRP project
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct Triggering exercises for sanitation promotion
- To Implement the CLTS/PATS approach in all target villages and make 50% of settlement open defecation free. Make sure that people are well aware regarding the water borne diseases and their causes.
- Piloting SLTS/ CLTS approach for making villages Open Defecation Free
- Provided Inputs of community for declaration Open defection certificate (ODF) statuses in their villages
- Formation and orientation of hygiene/WASH clubs in schools.
- Conduct health and hygiene session with school children
- To Implement the SLTS approach in Governments schools and made 50% of settlement open defecation free.
- Prepare weekly monthly work plan and submit progress report accordingly.
- Provide feedback of community and submit field visits report.
- Keep the record in soft and hard of soft activities of WASH.
- Support to supervisor for Celebration of WASH days/weeks.
- Completing the assign tasks timely.
