This role requires hands-on expertise in rendering techniques and the capability to produce realistic material finishes such as metal, glass, and wood. The designer collaborates closely with teams to develop construction details and project documentation that support seamless execution. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it demands initiative, collaboration, and the ability to present designs persuasively to internal stakeholders. The role emphasizes continuous learning and adapting to new visualization software and methodologies to enhance the design delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp to support design and construction processes.
- Develop realistic renderings and material finishes focusing on metals, glass, wood, and other relevant surfaces using rendering tools such as SketchUp and Revit.
- Translate design concepts into accurate construction details, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and project requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and schedules to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to refine designs, resolve technical challenges, and ensure feasibility in manufacturing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, visualization software, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
- Communicate design ideas clearly and effectively through presentations, visualizations, and verbal discussions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply strong understanding of interior design principles and architectural detailing to enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of the designs.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all design deliverables, minimizing errors and assisting in quality control during production stages.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and company quality standards.
