- Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
- Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality of work & administrative control of the Warehouse.
- Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
- Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
- Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
- Plan vehicle routes.
- Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
- Manage staff/ team of at least 50 people.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal/ external customers.
- Implement health and safety procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
