The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. He must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Market Knowledge of I.T sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
- Proactively initiate and engage sales calls to new leads.
- Present our company/product to potential clients
- Identify new business opportunities and manage entire sales cycle.
- Screen all sales leads for accreditation eligibility before contacting the business.
- Make sales presentation sales script.
- Maintain an awareness of current and continual changes in the marketplace.
- Writing proposals for bidding projects.
- Cold call as appropriate within given market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Establishing customer needs and selling IT services accordingly.
- Working on weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Organize marketing and sales campaigns.
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
