We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation.
Responsibilities
- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Keep an eye out for needed updates
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
Requirements
- Must know how to setup servers from scratch with excellent practices
- Must have the knowledge of linux and unuix based servers
- must have experience in script writing in bash/python for task automation
- Proven experience in a network administrator role
- Ability to set up and configure a secure in-house server
- Great at organizing, prioritising and multitasking
- Train team members on insallation/setup of new hardware or software.
- Research and recommend best practices for system administration tasks.
- Must have software house experience to setup server for hosting multiple tools for internal/external users
- Good to have to have any knowledge about CCNA/CCNP, devops/sysops, trainings/certifications
- 3 years experience must in well known software house / networking company
