Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Senior WordPress Developer with over 3 years of experience to join our team. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing our clients' websites. You will be working closely with our project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance WordPress websites for clients, including custom themes and plugins.
- Work closely with designers to ensure the websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise on existing WordPress websites.
- Stay up to date with the latest WordPress updates and trends, and implement them as appropriate.
- Implement security best practices to ensure website security.
- Test websites across various devices and browsers to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical guidance to other developers on the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Expertise in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Experience with MySQL database management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
