We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at a new restaurant.The ideal candidate will have a specialty in Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, and Lebanese cuisine, with a proven track record of creating unique and delicious dishes that will delight our customers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Designing and completing the kitchen setup, including selecting equipment, utensils, and ingredients.
  • Developing menus that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, and Lebanese cuisine.
  • Collaborating with the management team to develop new menu items and promotions, as well as implementing changes to existing menus based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Managing the kitchen team and ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively, with a focus on minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Ordering and managing inventory, as well as monitoring food costs to ensure profitability.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including overseeing the cleaning of equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
  • Ensuring compliance with international safety precautions and regulations for food preparation and handling.

International Safety Precautions:

  • The Head Chef will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen complies with international safety precautions and regulations for food preparation and handling.
  • This may include implementing measures such as frequent hand washing, wearing gloves and masks, and sanitizing surfaces and utensils regularly to prevent the spread of foodborne illnesses.

Requirements: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Head Chef role, with a specialty in Turkish, Moroccan, Iranian, and Lebanese cuisine.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles of the aforementioned cuisines.
  • Creative and innovative thinking, with a passion for experimenting with new dishes and flavors.
  • Proven ability to manage food costs and maintain profitability while delivering high-quality dishes.
