As the successful PHP Developer, your day-to- day will include:
Working on secure web applications and robust systems in Fintech Company dealing with (Banking etc)
Improving existing applications by enhancing data quality through better user interfaces.
Designing scalable and maintainable components of technical solutions to meet customer functional/non-functional requirements.
Creating deliverable artefacts such as executable code, models, design specs, unit tests, supporting documents etc.
Working on an agile, cross-functional team consisting of developers, testers, business consultants, UE consultants, and Project Managers.
Providing valuable input into proposals, project plans, white papers, and process documents.
As our ideal PHP Developer, you will have:
Strong knowledge/experience with OOP (object oriented programming) in PHP.
Good understanding of MVC frameworks such as Laravel 4.x.
Competent in PostgreSQL, optimising existing queries etc.
Experience investigating, understanding, and supporting legacy code.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Agile experience (Scrum).
Good web application development experience with experience working on legacy code.
Good understanding of Command line with linux/ubuntu and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Nice to have, but non-essentials:
TDD (Test Driven Development) knowledge using PHPUnit.
Knowledge of programming patterns / practice.
