The role of Technical Support Executive - IT Operations in IT company is of utmost importance. The Technical Support Executive - IT Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's IT infrastructure. This includes managing IT trouble tickets, monitoring servers, and ensuring that the company's websites are up-to-date and secure. The IT Operations Executive will also work with the development team to ensure that new features and updates are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.

The job responsibilities of Technical Support Executive - IT Operations are following and can be changed according to business requirement and changing business needs.

  • To monitor server regularly and proactively resolving and anticipating the issues.
  • To ensure that daily, weekly and monthly backups of all servers is running smoothly and regularly according to business needs and requirements.
  • Maintaining regular off-site backup of servers.
  • Monitor company and clients websites and take necessary action if the websites in vulnerable or requires an update.
  • Keeping an eye on WHMCS and swiftly taking actions and resolving the issues faced by clients in using company product/services.
  • To regularly check transactions and ensure that required services have been provided against the paid invoices and are working as per client’s expectation.
  • Monitor company’s incoming and outgoing email to highlight and resolve the issues related to email delivery or receipts.
  • Ensure that images and re-direction links are working on IT company websites and resolve 404 errors.
  • Extract and provide scheduled website maintenance reports.
  • Perform all activities related to server administration.
  • Monitor ABTXT services are up and running.
  • Fix Google indexing issues of IT company and clients websites.
  • To make technical guides for training purposes and verifying already created guidelines to identify changes.

Skills and Experience 

  • Must have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications and must also be able to effectively manage and troubleshoot IT systems.
  • Must be able to quickly identify and resolve problems with IT systems and be able to think critically and come up with creative solutions to problems.
  • Effective communicator for both technical and non-technical audience to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise way. 
  • Able to work effectively with other departments within the company, such as development, sales, and marketing.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an IT Operations Executive in Information Technology industry.
  • At least having bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, preferably BS IT, MIT.
