- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration and monitoring of network in a multi-site/enterprise-wide environment.
- Server Management
- Create, review and implement processes & policies that guarantee 24x7 up time for company Web Hosting Network.
- Manage, Monitor and Ensures the accessibility and availability of network resources ( Firewalls, Barracuda LinkBalancers, L2/L3 Switches, Wireless, E-mail systems, VPN appliances, etc.) without any help.
- Manage, Monitor and Ensure network security from external and internal threats on Dedicated Linux Servers
- Provides level 2 and level 3 support to IT operations personnel.
- Perform system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
- Create, modify, and maintain Active Directory group policies, and security permissions.
- Works with other functional IT areas to ensure that IT best practices, policies and procedures are practiced
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences/ Information Technology
- 6+ years of experience with network systems.
- Cisco certification is a must for the job
- Expert level knowledge of networking concepts (Routing, Switching, Messaging, VLAN’s).
- In-depth knowledge of managing firewalls
- In-depth knowledge of Network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, SIP).
- In-depth experience with Active Directory, CA, DNS, DHCP, DFS, SD-WAN, VPN technologies.
- Hands-on experience of administering FreePBX or Asterisk-based phone systems is a big plus
- Hands-on experience of Windows Server and Linux Servers is a big plus
- Hands on Cpanel is Plus.
- Virtualization experience a plus.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and be self-motivated.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of new technologies.
- Must be willing to work outside normal business hours and on-call on weekends or Holidays.
- Willingness to support global (multi-site) environments.
