I.T Network Administrator

Progatix is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure its growing IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a reliable network environment, ensuring consistent connectivity, and supporting various network systems and services. This role demands hands-on experience with network devices, IP telephony, and desktop support, along with a strong focus on network security and operational excellence. The position is full-time and requires working on-site.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the entire network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
- Administer and support WDA network systems and associated services to ensure seamless operation.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot point-to-point wireless links to maintain stable and reliable connectivity.
- Oversee IP telephony systems to guarantee consistent and dependable voice communication across the organization.
- Provide desktop and laptop support, addressing hardware, software, and peripheral issues promptly.
- Continuously monitor network performance and resolve connectivity, latency, and security challenges efficiently.
- Implement best practices for network security, including updates, patches, and access control measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, diagrams, records, and equipment inventories.
- Assist end-users with technical problems to ensure smooth daily IT operations.
- Participate actively in planning and executing network upgrades, improvements, and deployment of new technologies.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT networking or system administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Experience working with IP telephony systems and providing desktop support.
