We are looking for an innovative, creative, and technology-curious Intern to work with the Network Administration to support the day-to-day operations and contribute to IT technical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine maintenance of networking equipment (routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, wireless access points, etc.)
- Assist with updating network devices with new versions.
- Assist with remediation.
- Review the impact of security vulnerabilities and assist in the remediation
- Monitor alerts generated from the network monitoring system and update tickets accordingly.
- Support the collection of network data and update documentation.
- Other general duties are based on your current skillset.
Requirements:
- Experience Setting Up basic networks.
- Basic understanding of network design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Visio.
- Basic understanding of network devices.
- Desire to want to learn more.
