We are looking for a committed IT Technician to join our team, responsible for managing IT inventory updates, maintaining systems, and resolving technical issues reported by employees. This role involves providing hands-on support for both hardware and software to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proactive in troubleshooting network and system problems efficiently, maintaining accurate records, and following directives from management. This position requires strong technical skills combined with the ability to assist users by offering clear technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues to maintain seamless operations.
- Install and maintain Windows operating systems along with related software applications.
- Configure hardware and software components to align with organizational requirements.
- Download and update software versions regularly to keep systems current and secure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CCTV camera systems.
- Address hardware and software malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems to optimize performance and reliability.
- Conduct user data backups as necessary to prevent data loss.
- Provide orientation and ongoing technical support to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize IT resources.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Assistant Manager IT or Manager IT with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage complaint sheets and process IT requisitions efficiently to support operational needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience working as an IT Technician.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
- Experience with installation and maintenance of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting CCTV camera systems.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate IT inventory and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, in-person work environment.
