ITSolution24x7 is seeking a Manager for Research and Development! As a Manager, you will plan, schedule, and track internal development projects through to completion. Responsibilities
· Manage development resources to deliver high quality software within specified timescales
· Ensure development is tackled efficiently and communicated effectively through each stage of the Development Life Cycle
· Foster an atmosphere of collaboration and co-operation within the team and the wider business.
· Work to agreed project processes and contribute towards the goal of continuous improvement
· Measure targets to ensure company goals are met
Required
· Previous managerial experience in software development environment.
· Ability to coach and mentor the development team on an ongoing basis.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
· Knowledge and experience of agile software methodologies.
· Ability to solve problems and to think both strategically and tactically
· Confident self-starter, energetic leader with an innate sense of management
· Strong general computer literacy, including Microsoft office skills, with Word, and Excel
Highly Desired
· Experience in software, manufacturing, warehouse or similar process driven workflow situations. .
