Formed in 2016 and based in Islamabad Pakistan Iwatch Consultants was formed to help companies with their administrative tasks while removing them from the burden of having full time employees.  We have several large clients to whom we offer a range of outsourced services such as menu editing, administrative tasks, email handling, customer support, telephone sales, lead generation.  Since the few months from our launch, we have grown by over 300%.  

Job Description

The Iwatch Manager Accounts & Tax Specialist role is a unique opportunity to help manage the Accounts and Tax of one of Pakistan’s fast growing new start-ups.  This is a critical role bringing together all financial aspects of the business from marketing, sales, account management, and general organization.   This role calls for a combination of creative problem solving, detail orientation, and ability to manage all aspects of the companies Finance.  

This is an intense business side startup role, and this person will work with the Founders and shareholders to drive the business forward by creating projections and helping manage the company's Accounts.  This role will have direct responsibility for the tax health of the business and its founder.

The Manager Accounts & Tax Specialist will be responsible for organizing all aspects required for the smooth operation, reporting, tax filing, and corporate development of the company.  He / She must make sure that all tax filings are in order, projections are sound and kept up to date, and monthly statements prepared for reporting to shareholders.  In addition, he/she will manage the tax affairs of the founder personal UK and US taxes.  Work is office-based but might require visits to the bank or other government offices as required. A lot of opportunities to learn and explore more about business and management.


  • Develop & Optimize Tax Processes — Scale new and existing Financial processes and reporting to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow; analyse the business to track and improve metrics and profitability

  • Expansion Planning — Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of expanding to new areas, develop and execute against expansion plans

  • Leadership - have the sense of urgency to drive the business forward

  • Product Improvement — Proactively search for new features which could improve tax payments, reporting and accounting.

  • Hustle — Take ownership of Iwatch’s Financial growth and Tax afairs and do whatever it takes to get the job done


  • Using a range of office software, including google email, google spreadsheets and databases;

  • Manage Founder’s personal UK and US taxes

  • Manage Founder’s corporate UK companies tax and filings

  • Managing filing systems;

  • Developing and implementing new administrative systems to make tax filings and accounts smooth, such as record management;

  • Recording office expenditure and managing the budget;

  • Bank reconciliation for Founders personal accounts and Corporate Accounts.

  • Create budget broken down by category for all expenses

  • File annual Corporate tax returns

  • Pay EOBI payments for employees

  • File monthly tax returns

  • Maintaining salary & receivable ledger.

  • Handling petty cash.

  • Preparation of bank and cash vouchers.

  • Any other activities associated with bookkeeping and cash management.

  • Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and number of hours they work for our clients

  • Writing reports for senior management and delivering presentations;

  • Attending conferences and training;

  • Anything that helps to run the business smoothly.

  • Scanning and organising receipts

  • Visiting the bank and other government agencies as required for paper filing, bank payments, and pension contributions

  • Maintaining time sheets of clients staff

  • General tasks as required by founders and shareholders.


  • Ability to work on your own

  • Leadership skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment

  • A willingness to be “in the trenches” working with our clients founders

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets is essential.

  • Previous experience using QuickBooks is required

  • Knowledge or corporate development and company share structure

  • Partnership management or business development experience

  • Experience in Financial planning, business modelling, and creating projections

  • Startup (all-hands-on-deck) "I hustle because I love it" approach

  • Experience creating and optimizing processes

  • Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking

  • Solid understanding of a variety of business models


  • Consulting, Accounting, or Banking background with numbers/excel driven decision instincts

  • Corporate strategy or business development background with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
