Jamil Sweets is seeking an experienced Cashier and Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad region. This position requires a candidate with at least three years of hands-on experience working as a cashier in the fast food industry. The ideal candidate will effectively manage daily cashier operations while supervising a team of 15 employees to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Responsibilities include handling customer transactions, managing inventory, overseeing sales reporting, and maintaining excellent customer service standards within a fast-paced retail environment. Preference will be given to local residents familiar with the area and its customer base.
The role demands strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate staff activities, provide training, and maintain operational controls related to cash handling and Point of Sale systems. The Cashier and Supervisor ensures compliance with cash handling procedures, resolves customer issues promptly, and supports business goals by maintaining accurate inventory and sales reports. This position plays a key role in sustaining a positive store atmosphere that aligns with the brand reputation of Jamil Sweets through exceptional service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily cashier duties including accurate processing of customer transactions using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Supervise a team of 15 staff members to ensure efficient workflow, adherence to company policies, and excellent customer service.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including cash reconciliation and deposit preparation, ensuring accuracy and security.
- Maintain thorough inventory management by tracking stock levels, processing orders, and conducting regular inventory audits to prevent shrinkage.
- Generate and analyze sales reports to monitor business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Train new and existing staff on POS system operation, cash handling best practices, and customer service protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies within the retail environment.
- Coordinate with management to implement process improvements and support business objectives.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and cashier station at all times.
