We are looking for a professional database administrator (DBA) to join our team in Lahore office to keep the databases up and running smoothly 24/7. He will be responsible for planning & development, performance, integrity, security and troubleshooting of database.
Responsibilities
- Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialized role
- Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
- Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Requirements
- Working experience on MYSQL Database
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
- Amazon (AWS) knowledge would be an additional qualification
- Should be familiar with replication in mysql and keeping offsite back up readily available as failover site
