The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience at the restaurant. The GRO is expected to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times and work towards building a loyal customer base for the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage reservations and ensure guests are seated promptly
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Build strong relationships with guests to enhance their dining experience and encourage repeat business
- Ensure guests are aware of restaurant promotions and special events
- Assist with organizing and managing events at the restaurant
- Work with other staff members to ensure the restaurant is running smoothly
- Maintain accurate guest records and compile reports as required
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work during weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English and any other relevant languages
- Experience in a similar role is an added advantage
