What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products
Meet with the Treasury & Corporate Finance teams to understand the strategy of the function in line with CFO & CEO strategy and company road map.
Understand the function of Corporate Finance, its importance and what does it contribute to overall company’s objectives
Develop general understanding of Treasury and corporate finance policies and SOPs
Meet with key people within company more specifically corporate finance internal stakeholders
Meet with key point of contacts in Banks and Treasury major external stakeholders
 
Within 60 days, you will:
Be able to understand and work on key strategic projects assigned from time to time.
Be responsible for hedging activities, including obtaining approvals from relevant authorities and liaising with external and internal stake holders.
Act as an Active liaison with budgeting team for provision of various forecast related to treasury and building scenario analysis for lenders and Group treasury.
Be able to do financial analysis and prepare presentations for Parent Co. and external stakeholders.
Be responsible for loan related reporting to various stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with treasury policy & procedure controls.
 
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Independently manage end to end financing transactions for long term loans and bonds from offshore & local market sources, as well as intercompany on need basis
Bank relationship management and arranging/renewal of short term funded & non funded lines
Manage relationship with rating agencies, local & foreign.
Manage the security structure offered to the lenders, including enhancement and updating, as and when required.

A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already independently delivered on financial transactions such as long term funding facilities be it bilateral or syndicated transactions, who has understanding of security structures involved in different financial transactions and has in depth understanding of capital structure of a company.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills to be able to advocate/defend the Product Org’s views of what is right—even if it comes to conflict/disagreement with CEO—with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints
 
A bit about us:
Jazz Treasury is one of the core functions of Finance, further divided into following subsections:
Corporate Finance
Treasury Operations (Cash Management, Trade Finance & Insurance)
Employee Facilitations & Provident Fund Management
Enterprise Risk Management
In general Treasury is responsible for managing company’s overall relationships with regulators such as central bank, ministry of finance, banks/lenders, insurance companies and rating agencies. As part of core finance team treasury manages overall capital structure of the company, planning/forecasting the dividend pay-outs to shareholders. Treasury corporate finance team works closely with group and company’s strategy team on different strategic projects from time to time in order to generate/work through new revenue streams.
 
The structure of the team you will join is:
A three (03) member’s team with no sub teams.

The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Ensure that adequate long term and working capital facilities are always available to fulfil company’s funding requirements.
Ensure optimum capital structure of the company to ensure minimum cost of capital.
 
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders including divisional/departmental heads, internal P&O team members, and all functions of the company for effective planning, development and roll out of the Total Rewards Initiatives.

What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
It will result in coming up with optimal capital structure for the company.
 
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Arranging funding facilities for 4G auction by PTA. The exercise resulted in PMCL fully paying for the 4G spectrum license.
Seeking SBP and lender consents for tower business spin off. PMCL has successfully achieve all relevant approvals from lenders and SBP.
 
The seven (07) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
Financial Analysis
In-depth knowledge of debt and capital markets
Arranging long term debt including Islamic facilities
Arranging and renewal of Short term credit facilities
Experience in managing rating agencies
Risk management via derivatives
SOX controls understanding
 
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.
Microsoft Office specially Hands on advanced Excel and Power point skills
Treasury management systems
 
Essential skills must have: 
Financial Data Analysis and its presentation in power point and excel
Strong negotiation skills.  
Advance communication skills for managing cross functional projects.
