What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
Attend orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, code of conduct and business
Attend compliance team meetings to understand the compliance strategy in line with CCP hallmarks.
Develop in-depth understanding of principles of Code of Conduct, Jazz Policies and procedure & corporate compliance programs
Develop an understanding on the variable compliance work streams in the organization.
Develop in-depth understanding on FCPA compliance policies and procedures and compliance control framework of VEON
Within 60 days, you will:
Manage all compliance work streams and provide required support to compliance officer and compliance manager in all compliance activities in the OpCo (Pakistan) including third party due-diligence, trainings, compliance communication while extending support to business and control functions.
Managing several compliance activities and ensuring alignment with the compliance work plan including provision of support for risk assessments, audit activities, transaction test, reporting matrix and remediation effort to compliance team members.
Review, analyse and update compliance registers providing assistance to compliance officer/manager on matters relating to compliance policies and operational compliance matter ensuring employees are in compliance with company's Codes of Conduct local and local and international laws/regulations.
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Assist compliance team manager in monitoring and related activities on a continuing basis while taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness of compliance program.
Support compliance team with the implementation of corrective action for resolution of problematic issues and take prevent measures.
Assist compliance officer/manager with the analysis and preparation of reports and presentations.
Manage implementation of compliance integration plan and in preparation of excel data base for tracking remediation efforts.
Complete all task assigned in the Job description of the position.

A bit about us
Compliance function is a business enabler and an integral part of business and assurance functions. The function is primarily responsible for ensuring an effective compliance program within Jazz and its affiliates in Pakistan.
The structure of the team you will join is:
Compliance team comprises of three (03) member’s headed by Chief Compliance Officer with no sub teams.
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Effective Corporate Compliance Program within Jazz
Implementation of group wide work plan for ensuring compliance with DPA requirements
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders in regional offices and groups.
What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
Effective and timely completion of compliance work plan.
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Effective CCP and work plan with 100% completion rate of discussed, recorded and signed off objectives as per company and individual KPIs
Several projects completion as part of compliance strategy for 2017-2018.
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
2-5 years of work experience
Good presentation skills
Experience of arranging group meetings and training sessions.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Ability to manage system based applications
Essential skills must have:
Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with peers and interact with all functions and levels.
Willingness to travel (40-50%) with analytical mind, good communication and presentation skills, self-motivated, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Experience with cultural change management and ability to influence and convince
