What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
Understand the VEON business model and app capabilities
Work with stakeholders both local and HQ to ensure targets are met
Have in-depth knowledge of the Mobile App Eco-system with understanding of evolving trends in mobile digital communication, entertainment and engagement
Have experience in highly Matrixed and cross-functional structures using SCRUM & Agile project management.
Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data
Drive digital engagement and downloads for mobile applications
Have in depth knowledge of paid digital mediums and techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
Within 60 days, you will:
Create and reviewing business models/cases for collaboration with digital services and grow adjacent business verticals like Mobile Advertising and Digital Platforms
Be responsible for designing real-time Digital campaigns for continuous customer engagement on Mobile Apps (objectives definition, planning, design, execution, measurement, A/B Testing tools and techniques) with deep understanding of audience parameters (CPA/CPC/CPM + audience definitions)
Be proficient in digital and behavioural analytics for digital channels (attribution modelling, KPI definition, social media metrics, NPS analysis, cross‐ channel analytics, Funnel strategies, multivariate testing)
Understand market survey techniques and methodologies to gauge and improve customer experience and find ways to upsell/cross-sell offers within Mobile Apps.
Be responsible for direct growth KPIs and revenue targets across Mobile Apps and Platform and well versed with Digital Advertising
Be a passionate growth hacker familiar with Digital tools and techniques to creatively grow download, usage and growth across Mobile Apps and Platforms in innovative and viral new ways
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Be able to create user journeys and experiences on Mobile platforms with good understanding of UI/UX design principles
Develop digital marketing strategy and planning for scalable, always-on, digital marketing programs aligned with business priorities and customer needs
Develop the ability to evaluate digital capabilities of agencies and vendors and manage them to obtain optimal results
Be able to create stories and use cases for development of new features and continuous product improvement
What we have done and what we will do with YOU
We have been testing the VEON platform across several countries to identify gaps in product and improve the platform before commercial launch. A comprehensive go to market plan has been finalized and a 360 degree IMC has been rolled out. You will be required to sustain the growth momentum, create engagement within the app and prevent churn and drop offs.

You have University Degree, MBA preferred
You have 3 – 5 years of experience in a start-up / digital/ tech environment to drive customer acquisition on platforms. You have excellent financial modelling, presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to develop senior management relationships.
You have sharp strategic acumen and ability to manage ambiguity. Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent and highly collaborative, with a passion for digital products and the ability to quickly learn about new industries / technologies

You will work with internal stakeholders like sales, product development, pricing, brands, technology and VEON HQ teams. You will also work with customer care and digital & creative agencies
