What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our well designed on-boarding process, along with a detailed orientation program, where the candidate will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products including; spending time at our sales centers and call centers to meet our customers in person
Meet internal stakeholders such as the Executive Leadership Team and the various business divisions such as Digital, Brands, Jazz Cash, Business Services, Sales and Distribution, Finance, Legal, People & Organization, Compliance, and Business Analytics
Meet important external stake holders critical to the business such as the Public Relations agencies, Media management partners, and key digital and print media
Develop an understanding of the Jazz’s corporate entity and its sustainability function, its philosophy, communication strategy and the tools developed to set the direction of the organisation
Align expectations and business objectives with immediate line manager
Within 60 days, you will:
Establish good relationships with relevant stakeholders and commence a strategic review of all communications in light of business objectives
Review and validate an annual corporate calendar and key messages for the organisation
Review and further develop a Thought Leadership agenda in line with Jazz’s digital ambitions and desire to be an employer of choice
Gain deep understanding of the industry’s developments and proactively propose a strategy to ensure Jazz is a thought leader
Direct the PR and TL/Content agency with, guidelines and expectations to develop content across media and sustainability programmes under the Jazz Foundation
Develop an understanding of PO/PR process and contract management at Jazz
Understand the team dynamics, needs and set clear targets.
Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Development and delivery of Annual Corporate Communications & Sustainability strategy
Lead the process of developing Communication for year 2018
Development & Deployment of Media Analysis, and mesauring content
Lead and set direction for the internal and external partners of the corporate communication management function which include creative agencies, media partners, and ensure teams work together
Amplify and ensure delivery for internal (WORKPLACE), External (PRINT, TV, SOCIAL MEDIA) resulting in developing Jazz as a partner in Pakitan’s digital roapmap Thought Leader and Employer of Choice
Closely monitor the successful ideas in the regional/global telecom markets and evaluate them for local implementation.

A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already led the development of corporate communications through developing its story and journey in multiple communication mediums, including digital and social media. Which essentially means, launching, re-positioning and ensuring top of the mind recall of a corporate entity and brand. Has a history of proactively mitigating communication challenges and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to execution within a corporate communication role. Is experienced in developing traditional and digital public relations strategies and rolling out 360 degree communication campaigns.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to develop corproate communication messaging and sustainability ideas for activities that convert them into tangible results to increase Jazz’s presence in the corporate arena. The individual should have sound media sensibilities, product understanding, project management and relationship management and leadership skills; these skills are the cornerstone for this job role.
Building a strong team, nurturing them and developing them into top professionals is a skill that is essential for this role and a candidate with such history will be preferred.
This is a leadership position in the organization with direct and frequent access to the C-Suite. This requires someone with poise and confidence, and someone who is a leader.

Corporate Communications & Sustainability is a function within the Corporate and Regulatory Affairs. The team is responsible for handling the entire reputation management of the organisation as well as ensure we operate within a regulatory framework
The structure of the team you will join is:
You will lead a team of individuals from Internal Communication, External Communication (Print, Television and Social Media) and Sustainability
The three (03) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Maintain Jazz as the number one Digital telecommunications company
Ensure Jazz is a Thought Leader and leads the digital road map for Pakistan
To ensure Jazz is seen as a world class organisation and employer of choice
The stakeholders with whom the successful candidate will work functional/regional/ within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
Ability to build strong relationships with External Teams: Media and development organisations. The top tier influencers and opinion makers in the media industry, the persons of influence in social media, and content developers etc.
Ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: Compliance, Executive Leadership Team, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Procurement etc.
The three (03) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
· Developing gateways and standard operating procedures for corporate communications.
· Establishing Jazz as the leader in terms of Add Equivalent Value.
· Consolidating sustainability under ‘’empowering youth through technology’’ and the Jazz Foundation
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.

One must have technology the candidate should have.
Microsoft Office is an absolute requirement and design and editing tools are a complimentary skill. A good understanding of the digital and social media
Essential skills must have:
· Knowledge of traditional, digital and social media. Proven experience of Public relations and communication management in crisis. Leading a Sustainability driven organization.
· Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
· Should be able to demonstrate leadership and team skills
· Firm grip of business management, communication tools and relevant frameworks
· Strong knowledge of multiple communication medium and content development
· High level of initiative and self-drive
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
