What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products. Meet with the People & Organization team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map. Have meetings, with members of other teams to understand how each function at Jazz contributes to the overall success. Understand the function and processes of TXN Supervision department within Technical, role and responsibilities of team within organization.
 
-Within 60 days, you will:
 
Introduction to Jazz MW Optical & MPBN Network, understanding detailed Network Architecture, Nodes and Develop concrete understanding of Jazz Change Management Policy, MW & Optical network High Level Design & Low level design. Go through all the MOP & SOP of TXN Supervision. Collaborate with Internal People within Technical (Peer departments), stakeholders (Marketing, Finance and Commercial) and Vendor.
 
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Develop thorough competency on TXN Network Products. Would be able to perform Supervision, Fault identification, Network Performance, Health Checks, Vendor Management and Project Execution with great product knowledge. Continuously review and bring improvements to the Jazz Technology and Development framework and craft innovative solutions as per global best practices.

A bit about you:
 
We are looking for someone who has already worked for TXN Operations with hands on experience on Huawei and Ericsson MW and Optical nodes. Must have good Supervision & analytical skills. We are also looking for someone who has excellent communication skills to be able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism, maturity, and a balanced, holistic view of any competing viewpoints and last but not the least, the candidate must be a good team player.
 
A bit about us:
A network operations center (NOC) is a place from which administrators supervise, monitor and maintain a telecommunications network. We as provider typically have a network operations center, a room containing visualizations of the network or networks that are being monitored, at which the detailed status of the network can be seen, and the necessary software to manage the networks. The network operations center is the focal point for network troubleshooting, software distribution and updating, router and domain name management, performance monitoring, and coordination with affiliated networks.
The structure of the team you will join is:
26-member team (including the Manager) with two sub teams i.e one for RANO, MPBN & FIX network and another for Optical network. Main tasks include day to day Supervision & fault reporting of nationwide TXN Network and nodes, Customer complaints handling (corporate & commercial)
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Supervision of Transport network (MW, Optical, and IPMPLS) in real time as well as through periodic reporting.
Coordinate with all teams i.e. Fiber Optic operations or outsourced vendors and work with them for issue rectification

With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration? 

Ability to build strong relationships with External Teams: Field teams, Device Vendor, SD/CS teams.
Ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: Customer provisioning / Support, Network. Provisioning and support.
 
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
·         Performance monitoring and fault management in TXN network
·         Hot standby network availability in Core and Aggregation network
 
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
Hands on experience on E/// IPTNMS/SoEM, Huawei U2000, NEC PNMSJ, IBM NETCOOL etc.
Maintain weekly and fortnightly reports related to the Network connectivity and TXN related activities
Traffic monitoring over IP-MPLS  i.e. CoS / QoS

Essential skills must have: 
Complete TXN understanding of Optical, MPBN and MW networks.
Ensuring SOPs are being followed with proper update of activities to the line manager
Be specialized in the area of Telecommunication, especially Ericsson SPO, Mini-Link TXN equipment
