What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with a detailed orientation program where you will learn about Jazz’s core values, business, and products
Meet the relevant stakeholders concerning your team
Develop understanding of your division, function, its structure, and your role within the team.
Develop understanding of Financial ERP system implemented in Jazz and on-going change requests related to ERP system
Develop understanding of Enterprise support systems (ESS) project aimed to rollout Oracle fusion cloud in Veon & Jazz
-Within 60 days, you will:
Get to know your relevant stakeholders related to Oracle ERP system and other on-going finance transformation project e.g. ERP Operations team & system support vendor, finance stakeholders in Jazz & shared service centre
Recommend ways to improve finance and procurement business processes and execution of on-going projects
Recommend ways in consultation with relevant stakeholders for speedy delivery of on-going system projects and monitoring of ESS Project
Start managing ESS Project in business readiness lead and provide ESS project status updates to management
Ascertain Effective utilization of designed Oracle R12 processes & suggest improvements
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Take full control of business readiness activities for ESS project, provide regular status updates to management and escalate bottlenecks for timely delivery of project deliverables
Lead Oracle 12 change requests: Obtain change requirement requests from relevant stakeholders; Analyze requirements and devises strategies accordingly; Share devised strategies with supervisor, explains rationale behind and seek approval and support implementation
Investigate & resolve reported issues related of Oracle Systems
A Bit About You:
We are looking for someone who has delivered on challenging projects and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to roll out within Oracle ERP project (R12 & Cloud).Prior experience of finance and procurement processes will be an added advantage.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to derive tangible results by continually working to improve finance business and system processes. The individual should have sound analytical,Decision Making, Problem Solving and negotiation skills; these skills are key to meet the performance expectations for this role.
A Bit About Us:
Finance transformation & Integration team is part of the corporate accounting and controls Department within the finance Division. The team is responsible for managing financial systems and finance transformation projects portfolio at Jazz.
The structure of the team you will join is:
· A 04 member team (including the department head)
· You will be reporting to stream head finance transformation & integration
The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
· Manage Finance transformation Projects
· Manage Financial systems
To collaborate and produce effective business results, the role requires
The ability to build strong relationships with External Teams: Oracle Support vendors,System integrators
The ability to build strong relationships with Internal Teams: ERP Operations team, finance & procurement
The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Enterprise support system (ESS) Project aimed to finalize global design for Oracle fusion

Extensive knowledge of Oracle ERP System (R12 & Cloud)
