What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

Within 30 days, you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products. Meet with internal teams to understand the strategy of the function in line with company road map.
Understand the function of different teams involved in the infrastructure sharing and special projects particularly USF projects and how your role fits into the overall infrastructure sharing and special projects function.
Within 60 days, you will:
Work with all internal teams for preparation of USF bids; coordinate between internal teams and USF to resolve issues for the successful execution of USF projects.
Engage in business case development, feasibility assessment of new initiatives & execution of strategic projects.
Work with Tower Cos. for B2S rollout follow up and other initiatives with Tower Cos. ensuring that scope of work delivered as agreed. Moreover, with the help of internal teams and Tower Co to ensure that KPIs and SLA are meet on operational sites.

Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Work with technical, commercial, finance, government relations teams to prepare and submit bids for USF projects within given timelines and as per USF requirements.
Work with all internal teams to respond to USF queries during the bidding process and fulfil documentation requirements after winning the bid.
Seeking new sharing opportunities and doing end to end project management of such initiatives e.g. joint network & fiber rollout and multi operator high-rise building indoor solutions with Tower Cos., RAN sharing, National Roaming, OFC projects by USF, etc.
Ensure timely reconciliation of technical as well as invoicing data with internal and external customers, enabling quick settlement of receivables.
Job Description – Major areas of responsibility for this position:
1.              Feasibility assessment, business case development, project planning and execution for USF projects.
2.              Engage in technical and financial feasibility valuation of new initiatives with Tower Cos. and oversee execution of strategic projects.
3.              Seeking opportunities for incremental revenue generation from utilization of existing PMCL assets as well as new product development, such as National Roaming, Fixed/Mobile Convergence, etc.
4.              Internal and external stakeholder management for merger and acquisition projects.
5.              Generating partnerships with other operators through new business development activities as part of diversification and risk reduction strategies.
6.              Gathering market intelligence and tracking global development trends through formal/informal channels.

A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already worked on projects involving cross-functional team’s particularly in area of Telecom infrastructure sharing and special projects.
Having worked on new revenue streams and cost saving through innovative initiatives with existing and new partners in ICT domain.
Someone who has excellent communication, analytical, project management skills and can handle conflict resolution between stakeholders.
A brief about the department.
In M&A and special projects team, we work on the idea of new revenue streams and cost saving through M&A activities and building partnerships with right players in ICT domain.
Work on business case development, internal alignment with all stakeholder, deal structuring and negotiation with parties. Coordinate with legal teams for contracts drafting and operational execution of these initiatives.
We do R&D to develop conceptual framework for new revenue streams and cost saving initiative through M&A activities and infrastructure sharing.
The structure of the team you will join is:
A five (07) member’s team with no sub teams.

The main priorities of the team as a whole are:
Explore new revenue streams through M&A
Cost Saving through new infrastructure sharing initiatives
Improvement in existing revenue and optimize cost & expense through strategic partnerships
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders including segment heads, internal Business, technology, finance teams and all functions of the company for effective planning, execution of these USF projects and other infrastructure sharing initiatives. You will also be required to work with external partners specially Tower Cos. for all sharing and partnership initiatives.

What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
Coming up with innovative solution for new initiatives and existing infrastructure sharing to ensure that all parties benefits from these initiatives and ensure business continuity of these initiatives/projects and partnerships.
The specific areas/tasks that team was working on in the last 12 months with results.
Team successfully worked on 10 USF projected, submitted 8 bids and won 5 projects in 2019
Team successfully managed 1st Major Sale & leaseback of entire network deal with a Tower Co in Pakistan
Team successfully concluded major contracts with Tower Cos for Built to Suit roll out
Team successfully Participated in evaluation of strategic players in ICT domain for M&A
Experience requirement for the best candidate:
At least 5 years of Cross-Functional Project Management experience
Awareness and understanding of latest and emerging telecom technologies and related services
Familiarity with overall functioning of telecom and data operator
Had worked on new business development initiatives
Awareness and experience of using various analytical and strategy frameworks
Financial modelling and business planning
Essential technology use skills to have:
Microsoft Office: Excel/PowerPoint/MS Project
Presentation development
Essential soft skills must have: 
Interpersonal and Leadership skills
Advance communication/negotiation skills for managing cross-functional projects.
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
Structured analytical and decision making skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills
