What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
 
-Within 30 days you will:
Meet with the Corporate & Regulatory Affairs (C&RA) team to understand the strategy of the function in line with the CEO strategy and company road map.
Understand the function of Regulatory Affairs in the C&RA division and how your role fits into the overall department’s strategy and function
Develop quality and professional relationships with government officials, law enforcement agencies and relevant personnel for business growth, facilitation and ease in communication.
 
-Within 60 days, you will:
Assist Regional Business Head (RBH) for liaison with Government in the South Region for enhancement of business and for resolution of any conflicts/disputes that may arise.
Serve as a point of contact to all internal & external stake holders in the South region pertaining to C&RA matters.
Arrange meeting with civil bureaucrats and politicians where company advocacy and interest is involved.
 
-From 90 days, onwards you will:
Have a close liaison with Regional/Zonal PTA teams for urgent industry matters/queries.
Assist & take lead from C&RA prospective with departments such as commercial/ technical and other ancillary in regards to business growth in the South Region.

A bit about us
The Corporate Affairs function at JAZZ is a very important one that meticulously looks after stakeholder engagements and proactively advocates in the best interest of the company. It supports the Regional Business Head and his teams on new business projects and ensures that all issues are resolved to the company’s advantage. We partner with the Digital Teams to identify and prepare engagements with stakeholders to pursue Jazz’s Digital Agenda. Our aim is to lead the Telecom industry through Leadership where we interact and influence the stakeholders while resolving their issues and getting favorable decisions for Jazz in particular and for the Telecom Industry as a whole.
 
The structure of the team you will join is:
A three (03) member’s team with no sub teams.
 
With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders such as government officials, law enforcement agencies and all functions of the company for effective planning, development and roll out of regulatory affairs.
 
What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
The collaboration will help in developing quality and professional relationships with law enforcement agencies for business growth, facilitation and ease in communication.
 
The two (02) specific tasks that the team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
·         Developed the Stakeholder Engagement Matrix for all key stakeholders. The matrix was reviewed on daily basis in terms of engagements.
·         Worked very closely with the regulator: Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) and Federal Accountability Bureau (FAB) on various issues like jammers and Spectrum Interference.
 
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
·         Strong relationship with government officials, LEA’s and civil bureaucracy
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Experience working in a competitive environment. Should be outgoing and proactive.
 
The must have technology the candidate should have.
Microsoft Office 
 
Essential skills must have: 
Data Analysis in order to review and analyze data to extract meaningful insights
Data Presentation skills to present data in order to make quick decisions  
Advance communication skills for managing cross-functional projects.
