What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products.
Meet the Technology team and relevant stakeholders concerning Facility Management Operations department to get to know the Technology stack and how it allows us to build great Network and deliver seamless services.
Develop understanding of the function of Facility Management Operations within Technology Division and your role within the microcosm.
Develop understanding of Jazz Core Facilities Infrastructure
-Within 60 days, you will:
Monitor FLM Vendors Teams activities & performance including PM,CM related to AC & DC backup Power systems, Fire Suppression System & CRAC system at MSC/MGW/IT Data Centers as per best industrial practice.
To ensure the Proper implementation of established SOP related to System maintenance, Core sites Fueling, Junk/Hazardous material removal, Fire prevention drills, HSE and Core Site access.
Verification of FLM consumption of respective sites for vendor’s invoice processing & its record keeping.
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
 Keep close eye on network KPIs and will take necessary actions to improve PUE.
Perform audits and quality checking for Core Power & environmental Systems/network as directed by line Management.
Deriving FLM vendors to get the routine FLM jobs done.
Preparing and sharing periodic Operations/performance reports.
Act as an interface for the FMO team with other departments (Including, Power Planning, IT, Core Network, IN, FOO, OAN, Transport Network & Security Teams) for the timely execution of projects.
Identifying & highlighting the weak areas and its improvement plan related to Core sites Power & environmental systems.
Conduct JV with other departments for installation of new hardware / expansion and support implementation of purposed plan at MSC/MGW & IT Data Center.
A bit about you:
 We are looking for someone who has already worked for Core Sites Facility management operations within Telecom/IT industry, and also has delivered on good projects related to AC/DC Power, CRAC and Fire Detection & Suppression systems.
We are looking for someone who has good communication and presentation skills to be able to coordinate effectively with internal and external stake holders, develop required Operations and performance reports and necessary Floor Layouts, Diagrams, PIP etc.
We are looking for someone who can continuously improve and maintain the quality & Energy Efficiency of Jazz Core Facilities.
A bit about us:
 Facility Management function within Network Operations Department is responsible for maintaining Core Facilities Infrastructure. During last two years, Technology Division has gone through successful merger of Mobilink & Warid Networks and now we are focused on Operational Excellence, consolidation of our Core Facilities and increase in PUE.
The structure of the team you will join is:
·       A 33 member team (including the department head) with 4 sub teams.
·       You will be part of a 8 member sub-team reporting to a Manager

The two (02) main priorities of the team as a whole are:
·       Assuring High availability in terms of Standby Power, CRAC & environmental status at Core MSC/MGW/Data Centres while spending least OPEX.
·       Energy Optimization and continuous improvement in Power Utilization Efficiency at Core facilities.

With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team. What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
You will be interacting/working with several teams/function within Technology, Commercial, Business Support, Finance, Logistics, Security, & HSE divisions as internal and with FLM vendors as external stakeholders.
Your full collaboration with these stakeholders will results in smooth Engineering Operations which will enable Technology Division to contribute to Business effectively.

The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
·       Upgradation of backup Power system and its distribution for one of our important Data Centre has resulted in reliable services..
·        Modernisation of Power system into Rated 3 Power plant with end to end 1+1 redundancy is in progress and will enable us to assure 100 % safe operation for our biggest Core facility in Central Region.
 The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
·       First Level Maintenance related to Core MSC/MGW sites & Data Centres.
·       SLA and Vendor Management
·       Rollout execution of AC/DC Power systems & Environmental Systems.
The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.T
·       Microsoft Office 
·       Power and Colling System Management through DCIM
Essential skills must have: 
·       Exposure to new technologies, innovative thinking and solution oriented approach.
·       Communication and presentations skills to make solutions/ideas understandable for respective audience segments (Should be able to make periodic Operations/Performance report, Floor Layout, SLD and block diagrams of Core sites)   
·       Self-driven, Leadership Qualities.
