SZABIST Islamabad is looking for a skilled & proactive Radio Producer. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable and willing to contribute to make SZABIST a better place to work. He/ She should be highly efficient, organized and approachable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Generating concepts for new radio shows and creating the whole radio production process for both live and recorded programs for transmission.
- Planning radio events/programs by maintaining cue sheets, scheduling, sourcing, confirming guests etc.
- Provide direction to presenters, content makers, assistants and other crew members of Radio team.
- Ensuring that all programs complies with all broadcasting legislation under umbrella of PEMRA rules and regulations.
- Having knowledge about various broadcasting technologies such as soundboards and editing/production software.
- Choosing the script writer and host/compare according to the theme of the program.
- Editing interviews/reports/conversation pieces.
- Ensuring educational and community welfare content is topical and well-researched.
- Targeting maximum listeners and generating ideas according to the timing and program theme.
- Ensures presence in the control room for orderly conduct of programs when they are aired live.
- Supervise the production team members and provide resources
- Monitoring and keeping listener’s feedback.
- Developing and keeping skills and knowledge up to date.
- Any other task assigned by the Management.
