Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins, transforming design files into fully functional websites, and ensuring optimal site performance. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins tailored to project requirements.
- Convert Figma and PSD designs into fully responsive, functional WordPress websites that align with design specifications.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues promptly to ensure site stability.
- Work extensively with custom post types, taxonomies, hooks, filters, and shortcodes to extend WordPress functionality.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools such as payment gateways and CRM systems to support business operations.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across all major browsers and devices.
- Collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery essential for WordPress development.
- Proven experience in custom theme and plugin development within the WordPress ecosystem.
- Familiarity with popular page builders and tools such as Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Elementor, and WPBakery.
- Deep understanding of WordPress core functions, hooks, and APIs to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, to manage codebase efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques for optimizing website performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues effectively.
