Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Office Attendant to support the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing office supplies, assisting staff and visitors, and ensuring that all office equipment is properly maintained. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a responsible attitude, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently to contribute to a well-organized and welcoming workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to queries or requests from both visitors and employees, ensuring a positive experience for all.
- Serve tea and refreshments to staff members and office visitors, fostering a hospitable atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness in the office kitchen on a daily basis, including washing dishes and wiping surfaces.
- Dispose of trash, waste, and other disposable materials regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Monitor the usage of office equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to the relevant department.
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to office operations.
- Perform daily damp dusting of furniture, light fixtures, windows, and bathrooms to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Wash windows as per the scheduled routine to ensure a bright and tidy office space.
- Adhere strictly to safety precautions during all housekeeping and maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance, reflecting the company’s standards.
- Carry out tasks outside the office premises as directed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
- Exhibit activeness, attentiveness, and a responsible attitude in all assigned duties.
- Handle electronic files and paperwork efficiently, supporting office staff with clerical tasks as needed.
- Assist with menial office tasks as required by the office team, contributing to overall office productivity.
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire office premises, including the kitchen area, to promote a healthy work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in office maintenance, housekeeping, or a similar role is preferred.
