Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hotel Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales and marketing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by crafting and executing strategic sales plans, nurturing strong client relationships, and effectively promoting our hotel’s services. Your contributions will be essential in expanding our market presence and achieving key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies designed to meet and exceed revenue targets. You will actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation efforts. Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients—including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and other strategic partners—is a critical part of this role.
You will prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations tailored to prospective clients, negotiate contracts in line with hotel policies, and ensure profitability goals are met. Collaboration with the marketing team is essential to design and execute marketing plans that complement sales initiatives.
Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activities will enable you to make informed, strategic sales decisions. Representing the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions will further enhance our visibility and reputation. Additionally, you will generate regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
As a leader, you will motivate and manage the sales team, fostering a results-driven environment to ensure sales targets are consistently achieved.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. Proven experience as a Sales Manager within the hotel industry is essential, along with a strong understanding of hotel products, services, and the local market landscape.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are necessary to build and sustain strong client relationships. A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals reflects the results-driven mindset we seek.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications is expected. The role requires flexibility, including willingness to travel and work outside regular hours, such as evenings and weekends. Effective leadership and team management skills are also critical for success in this position.
