Job Summary
An industry-leading, PSX-listed organization based in Korangi, Karachi, is looking to hire a qualified finance professional to strengthen their finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in finance and accounting, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audit coordination. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. They will ensure strict adherence to SECP, PSX, and other statutory regulations. Leading internal controls, audits, and risk management processes will be a critical part of the role, aimed at safeguarding company assets and enhancing operational efficiency.
Collaboration with senior management on financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities is essential. The candidate will also manage taxation matters in line with local laws and regulations. Continuous monitoring and improvement of internal financial procedures to boost effectiveness will be expected. Additionally, the candidate will serve as the primary liaison between external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and compliance.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a professional finance qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). For CA candidates, completion of articles from a reputable firm is mandatory. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, particularly within a PSX-listed company, is required.
The candidate should demonstrate strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audit coordination. A thorough understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Companies Act, and SECP regulations is essential. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also required. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, along with a high level of integrity and attention to detail, are critical for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working within a publicly listed company environment is highly preferred. The organization offers a competitive monthly salary package ranging from PKR 250,000 to 400,000, along with additional benefits.
