Job Summary
Homemade Cuisine, a leading company specializing in gluten-free foods, is seeking a dedicated part-time Food Microbiologist to join our team at our factory located on Multan Road, Lahore. This role is integral to ensuring the safety and quality of our products through rigorous microbiological testing. The position requires a commitment of 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, with a monthly salary of Rs25,000, reflecting the part-time nature of the role.
Key Responsibilities
The Food Microbiologist will be responsible for conducting bioburden testing on a variety of samples, including food items, packaging materials, raw materials, and environmental swabs. This testing aims to detect and identify various strains of bacteria and other microorganisms that could impact product safety and quality.
In addition to testing, the role involves preparing detailed, clear, and presentable reports based on the laboratory findings. Maintaining accurate logs and records of all laboratory activities is essential to ensure traceability and compliance with internal and external standards.
Regular quality control checks must be performed, with the maintenance of checklists to uphold stringent product safety standards. The candidate will also be expected to provide strategic recommendations to improve laboratory capabilities and enhance overall food safety processes within the company.
