What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?

-Within 30 days you will:
 Meet with the Corporate & Regulatory Affairs (C&RA) team to understand the strategy of the function in line with CEO strategy and company road map.
Understand the function of Regulatory Affairs in the C&RA division and how your role fits into the overall department’s strategy and function
Develop quality and professional relationship with Government Officials, Law Enforcement Agencies's (LEA) and relevant personnel for Business growth, facilitation and ease in communication.

-Within 60 days, you will:
 Assisting Regional Business Head (RBH) South for liaison with Government in the South Region for enhancement of business and resolution of any conflicts/dispute.
Serve as a Point of Contact (POC) to all internal & external stake holders in the South region pertaining to C&RA matters.
Arrange meeting with civil bureaucrats and politicians where company advocacy and interest is involved.
 
-From 90 days, onwards you will:
Have close liaison with Regional/Zonal PTA team for any urgent matter/query for any industry matters.
Assisting & taking lead from C&RA prospective commercial/ technical and other ancillary department with regards to business growth in the South Region

A bit about us
The C&RA function at JAZZ is a very important one. Corporate Affairs includes Stakeholder engagements and proactively advocating for the company’s advantage. It supports the Regional Business Head and his team on all new business projects and ensures that all issues are resolved to the company’s advantage. We partner with the Digital Team to identify and prepare engagements with stakeholders to pursue Jazz Digital Agenda. Our aim is to lead the Telecom industry through Leadership where we interact and influence stakeholders resolving issues and getting favorable decisions for Jazz in particular and the Telecom Industry.
 
The structure of the team you will join is:
A three (03) member’s team with no sub teams.

With which other stakeholders the successful candidate will work with functional/regional/ within the team.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders including Government Officials and LEA’s and all functions of the company for effective planning, development and roll out of the regulatory affairs.

What would be the result of those interactions if we assume 100% collaboration?
Will help in developing quality and professional relationship with LEA’s for business growth, facilitation and ease in communication.

The two (02) specific tasks that team was working on in the last 6 months with results.
Developed the Stakeholder Engagement Matrix, which includes key stakeholders. We review it routinely and keep updating our engagements. We also work very closely with Internal Stakeholders in order to stay at the top of any issue since the beginning with the concerned department.
Working very closely with Regulator PTA and FAB on various issues like jammer issues and Spectrum Interference.
 
The three (03) must have past experiences the best candidate should have.
Strong relationship with Government Officials, LEA’s and Civil Bureaucracy
Possess excellent writing and communication skills including presentations
Experience of working in a competitive environment and be outgoing and proactive

The two (02) must have technologies the candidate should have.T
