SlashNext, Inc Pakistan is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team with responsibilities to include:
- Design, build, ensure Highly Available infrastructure and associated services, such as logging, monitoring, and alerting,
- Diagnose and develop root cause solutions for failures and performance issues in our production environment
- Develop the tools and procedures that enable high feature velocity, deploy efficiently as well as maintain stability and performance of our applications
- Create tools and deployment systems that enable high feature velocity and developer quality of life
- Improve automation tools for all stages of the operational pipeline, including build systems, deployment, and new environment/infrastructure orchestration
- Oversee our continuous delivery and integration pipeline to maximize productivity
- Gauge and right size infrastructure resources to manage spend appropriately
- Gain deep knowledge of our complex product to develop a bird's eye view of our platform
- Automate redundant jobs and improve efficiencies wherever possible
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3 years of experience with Source Code Management, Build & Release Management, Configuration Management, Application Deployments and Environment Maintenance
- 2-3 years of Experience with Continuous Delivery tools(E.g., AWS Code Deploy, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
- 2-3 years of Experience with Continuous Integration tools (E.g. Team City, Jenkins, Cruise Control, Bamboo, AWS Code Pipeline)
- 2-3 years of experience with Python other scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Ruby etc.
- Must have Agile Mindset, Lean practitioner and Jira Administration will be plus
