-Assign work to available work force in order to get production according to the priorities.
-Explain briefly to the workers the job method for each lot based on standard Process control guide lines in order to get meet the customer date.
-Ensure that fill up all gabs & maximize production in his shift.
-Ensures that machines are cleaned regularly in order to keep the machinery in good working condition.
-Prepares job order for works Department in order to get machine repaired.
-Listen, tackles and discusses with Department Manager the work related problems and grievances of shift workers in order to keep work force satisfied and motivated.
-Checks frequently the production and performance of the sub ordinate workers and staff in order to get maximum productivity and performance of them.
-Implements and advises of company’s rules and regulation.(i.e Canteen timing, Tea breaks, Smoking prohibitions to workers in order to enforce discipline in the department.)
-Reports about every incident of cross in discipline to Manager in order to keep him informed for appropriate action.
-Checks frequently that the workers are not absent from their work places in order to get maximum output from the machines by full utilisation of work force.
-Ensures that the first aid box contains all necessary items for immediate treatments of chemically injured persons before sending them to hospital in order to avoid chances of further deterioration of the affected body part.
-Ensures that safety devices are available and are used by workers.
-Demonstrates by working on the machines before the new workers in order to train them for working on machines.
-Fills and /or prepares overtime advice memo, weekly shift duty report, accident forms, other company’s forms as and when required in order to advise the concerned department.
